Thick fog blanketed the area from east to west under a “dense fog blanket,” severely reducing visibility to around 15 meters or less in Odisha’s popular tourist zone near Khanda Dhara Jala Prapat (waterfall) during the current tourism season. Roads, bridges, and open land appeared white with fog, making travel difficult for visitors and locals alike. The heavy fog persisted throughout the daytime and forced many to slow down or stop.
