A recent survey by the Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) has revealed that the state capital now has 47,126 stray dogs across its 67 wards. The official census, conducted to assess the scale of the stray dog issue, paints a concerning picture of Bhubaneswar’s growing urban animal challenge.
