Tension erupted in Kotia after a team of Andhra Pradesh government officials entered Sembi village in the Kotia region to conduct an e-survey for ration cards and Aadhaar. The survey team faced strong resistance from local villagers, leading to a direct confrontation. Following police intervention, the Andhra survey team was forced to return.

According to information, the Andhra administrative team was carrying out the e-survey in the village when locals objected strongly. Attempts to restrain the villagers led to heated arguments between the two sides. The situation escalated until police intervened and instructed the Andhra officials to leave the area, after which the situation was brought under control.
