Traffic Blocked as Water Flows Over Pulsada Bridge in Khariar-Boden Road

ଖଡ଼ିଆଳ ପଲସଦା ବ୍ରିଜ ଉପରେ ପାଣି । ଖଡ଼ିଆଳ ବୋଡ଼େନ ରାସ୍ତା ପଲସଦା ବ୍ରିଜ ଉପରେ ପାଣି ଚାଲୁଥିବାରୁ ଯାତାୟତ ବାଧାପ୍ରାପ୍ତ ହୋଇଛି। ବ୍ରିଜରେ ଯାତାୟତ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ପ୍ରଶାସନ ପକ୍ଷରୁ ବାରଣ କରାଯାଇଛି। ତେବେ ଲଗାଣ ବର୍ଷା ଯୋଗୁଁ ଖଡ଼ିଆଳର ବିଭିନ୍ନ ନଦୀର ଜଳସ୍ତର ବଢୁଛି। ତିଖାଲି ଡ୍ୟାମର ୫ଟି ଗେଟ୍ ଖୋଲି ଦିଆଯାଇଛି। ଫଳରେ ଏଭଳି ସ୍ଥିତି ଉପୁଜିଥିବା ଜଣାପଡିଛି ।

Vehicular movement came to a halt on the Khariar–Boden road after water started flowing over Pulsada bridge in Nuapada district. The district administration has stopped all traffic on the bridge to prevent accidents. The situation arose due to heavy rainfall in the region.

Officials stated that continuous downpour has raised water levels in several rivers of Khariar area. In addition, five gates of Tikhali Dam have been opened, further increasing the flow. This combined effect has led to water overtopping the Pulsada bridge, disrupting communication.
