In a harrowing incident in Durgapur, West Bengal, a second-year MBBS student from Jaleswar, Odisha, was allegedly gang-raped on Friday night. The 23-year-old woman, studying at IQ City Medical College, had stepped out with a male friend when she was abducted and assaulted by four to five men near the college gate. The assailants then fled the scene.
