After weeks on the run, Shankar Prusty, the alleged mastermind of the Odisha Police SI recruitment scam, was arrested by the Crime Branch near the Nepal-Uttarakhand border. Following his arrest, Shankar made a sensational claim, hinting at a ₹1000-crore deal and possible involvement of the “former government”.
