If you want to change your name, address, or photo on your Aadhaar card, this news is for you. UIDAI has made new rules. From October 1, 2025, it will cost more money to update your Aadhaar card. From October 1, UIDAI will charge ₹75 to change name or address. For photo, fingerprint, or iris update, the fee will be ₹125. Biometric update for children 7–17 years will also cost ₹125. Getting a new Aadhaar card is still free.
