A shocking incident of ragging has come to light in a residential school hostel located at Barapurikia under Daspalla police station in Nayagarh district. A Class 10 student allegedly assaulted a Class 8 boy with a plastic pipe and a cricket bat, even after the victim begged for forgiveness. The boy was severely injured — including a broken hand.
