In the dead of night, police conducted a raid on an illegal gambling den in Satanamipada village, under Kadobasa police limits in Balangir district. Eleven people were arrested while ten managed to escape. Authorities seized ₹64,500 in cash, four motorcycles, and eleven mobile phones from the scene.

The raid highlights the ongoing efforts of local police to curb illegal gambling activities and maintain law and order in rural areas.

The crackdown follows multiple complaints about clandestine gambling operations disrupting village life, showing active vigilance by the district police.
