PM Modi to Flag Off India’s First Vande Bharat Sleeper Train on Jan 17

ଆସନ୍ତା ୧୭ରେ ଦେଶର ପ୍ରଥମ ସ୍ଲିପର୍ ବନ୍ଦେ ଭାରତର ଶୁଭାରମ୍ଭ କରିବେ ପ୍ରଧାନମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ନରେନ୍ଦ୍ର ମୋଦି । ପଶ୍ଚିମବଙ୍ଗ ମାଲଦାରେ ପତାକା ଦେଖାଇ ପ୍ରଧାନମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ଏହାର ଶୁଭାରମ୍ଭ କରିବେ । ତେବେ ଜାନୁଆରୀ ୧୮ରେ ସ୍ଲିପର ବନ୍ଦେ ଭାରତ ବିଧିବଦ୍ଧ ଭାବେ ଆରମ୍ଭ ହେବ। ହାୱଡାରୁ ଗୌହାଟୀକୁ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଗଡ଼ିବ ଦେଶର ପ୍ରଥମ ସ୍ଲିପର୍ ବନ୍ଦେ ଭାରତ ।

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will flag off the country’s first Vande Bharat Sleeper Train on January 17 at Malda in West Bengal. The sleeper version of Vande Bharat will begin commercial operations from January 18, marking a major milestone for Indian Railways.

India’s first Vande Bharat Sleeper Train will operate on the Howrah–Guwahati route. Built using indigenous technology, the train has successfully completed trials on the Kota–Nagda section. During testing, various parameters including ride quality, braking system, safety mechanisms and technical performance were evaluated. The train is designed to run at a maximum speed of 180 kilometres per hour.
