A pipeline burst disrupted the trial run of the underground pipe irrigation system under the Suktel Project in Odisha’s Balangir district. While some farmers welcomed the long-awaited water release, others suffered unexpected damage as floodwater gushed into agricultural fields in Baghala due to a burst pipe.
