Bhakta Charan Das, President of the Odisha Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC), has reiterated that the Congress–BJD joint candidate will definitely win and go to the Rajya Sabha. Speaking to the media, he alleged that the BJP does not believe in democracy and said it is the party’s responsibility to respect democratic values. Expressing confidence in the alliance, Das stated that the candidate supported by both the Congress and BJD is certain to secure victory and reach the Rajya Sabha.
