A video of Sanakhemundi MLA Ramesh Jena has gone viral, sparking new debate around the murder of lawyer and BJP leader Pitabas Panda. In the old video, Ramesh Jena is seen referring to the Gopalpur gangrape case while mentioning Pitabas Panda’s name. He claimed that Panda was a close aide of former Mines Minister Bibhuti Jena and that he was handling the Gopalpur gangrape case. Ramesh further alleged that the case was being settled for ₹9 lakh.
