PUCC ନ ଥିଲେ ପେଟ୍ରୋଲ ମନା ନିର୍ଦ୍ଦେଶ ପ୍ରତ୍ୟାହୃତ। ଏନେଇ ହାଇକୋର୍ଟରେ ସତ୍ୟପାଠ ଦାଖଲ କଲେ ରାଜ୍ୟ ସରକାର। ପେଟ୍ରୋଲ ପମ୍ପ୍ ଗୁଡ଼ିକ କେବଳ PUCC ପାଇଁ କହିପାରିବେ। ସମସ୍ତ ଚାଲାଣ ଭରିବାକୁ ବାଧ୍ୟ କରିପାରିବେ ନାହିଁ। ବାହନ ପୋର୍ଟାଲରେ କୌଣସି ଚାଳକ ଯେପରି ଅସୁବିଧାର ସମ୍ମୁଖୀନ ନହୁଅନ୍ତି ତାହା ଉପରେ ପଦକ୍ଷେପ ନେବାକୁ ହାଇକୋର୍ଟ ନିର୍ଦ୍ଦେଶ ଦେଇଛନ୍ତି।

The Odisha government has withdrawn its controversial order making a valid Pollution Under Control Certificate (PUCC) compulsory for purchasing petrol at fuel stations. In an affidavit submitted to the High Court, the state clarified that petrol pumps can only advise customers about PUCC but cannot refuse fuel sale if the certificate is not produced. The government has been directed to update the Vahan portal and issue a formal notification to prevent inconvenience to vehicle owners. The court has ordered the state to ensure no citizen faces issues due to the portal and has scheduled the next hearing after one week.
