Odisha Govt Paid ₹1.60 Crore to Madhuri Dixit as Handloom Brand Ambassador, Minister Says

ଓଡ଼ିଶା ହସ୍ତତନ୍ତ୍ର ବ୍ରାଣ୍ଡ ଆମ୍ବାସଡର ହେବା ପାଇଁ କୋଟିଏ ୬୦ ଲକ୍ଷ ଟଙ୍କା ନେଇଛନ୍ତି ବଲିଉଡ୍ ଡିଭା ମାଧୁରୀ ଦୀକ୍ଷିତ । ରାଜ୍ୟ ରାଜକୋଷରୁ ଏଥିପାଇଁ ୧ କୋଟି ୬୦ ଲକ୍ଷ ଟଙ୍କା ନେଇଛନ୍ତି ମାଧୁରୀ।ବିଧାୟକ ଅରୁଣ ସାହୁଙ୍କ ପ୍ରଶ୍ନରେ ବୟନ ଶିଳ୍ପ ମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ପ୍ରଦୀପ ବଳ ସାମନ୍ତ ଏହି ଉତ୍ତର ଦେଇଛନ୍ତି । ତେବେ ବିମାନ ସହ ରହିବା ଓ ଖାଇବା ଖର୍ଚ୍ଚ ଅଲଗା ନେଇଛନ୍ତି ବୋଲି ଗୃହକୁ ଜଣାଇଛନ୍ତି ବୟନ ଶିଳ୍ପ ମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ।
In the Odisha Legislative Assembly, Handloom & Textiles Minister Pradip Bal Samant replied to a question from legislator Arun Sahu, revealing that the state government had paid ₹1.60 crore to Bollywood actress Madhuri Dixit for her role as Odisha Handloom Brand Ambassador.
