West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee reached the spot during an Enforcement Directorate raid and confronted ED officials in Kolkata today. The incident occurred while the central agency was conducting a search at the residence of election consultant and I-PAC chief Prateek Jain.

According to the Enforcement Directorate, during the episode, Mamata Banerjee allegedly took away a laptop, mobile phone and other documents from the residence. The agency has made this allegation following the confrontation.

The ED had carried out the raid as part of its investigation at Prateek Jain’s house. On receiving information about the search, the Chief Minister arrived there and came face to face with the officials conducting the operation.
