Koraput Police bust inter-state ganja oil racket, 7 arrested

In a major success in the state’s anti-drug campaign, Koraput Police have busted a well-organised inter-state drug production racket operating in Koraput district. The illegal ganja oil manufacturing unit was running on a remote island inside the Jalaput Reservoir.

Acting on inputs, Koraput Police raided the location and arrested seven persons, including the mastermind behind the operation. The breakthrough was announced today at the Koraput SP office by DIG (South Western Range) Kanwar Vishal Singh and SP Rohit Verma.

The operation marks a significant step in Odisha’s ongoing drive against narcotics and illegal drug networks operating across state borders.
