Jay Dholakia, son of the late Biju Janata Dal (BJD) MLA Rajendra Dholakia, is set to file his nomination as the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate for the upcoming Nuapada by-election. The by-election, scheduled for November 11, was necessitated by the untimely demise of his father. Dholakia is expected to submit his nomination papers on October 16, accompanied by Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi and other senior party leaders.
