Heavy Rain Alert in Odisha for 3 Days, Thunderstorms Likely in Several Districts

ରାଜ୍ୟରେ ଆସୁଛି ଏକ ବଡ଼ ବର୍ଷା । ଆଜିଠାରୁ ୩ ଦିନ ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ରାଜ୍ୟର ଅଧିକାଂଶ ଜିଲ୍ଲାରେ ବର୍ଷାର ସମ୍ଭାବନା ନେଇ ପୂର୍ବାନୁମାନ କରିଛି ଆଞ୍ଚଳିକ ପାଣିପାଗ ବିଭାଗ। ବିଶେଷ କରି ଉତ୍ତର ଉପକୂଳବର୍ତ୍ତୀ ଜିଲ୍ଲା ଗୁଡ଼ିକର ଗୋଟିଏ ଦୁଇଟି ସ୍ଥାନରେ ଘଡ଼ଘଡ଼ି ସହ ବର୍ଷା ହୋଇପାରେ। ଏଥିଲାଗି ଆଜି ପାଇଁ ୧୨ଟି ଜିଲ୍ଲାକୁ ୟେଲୋ ୱାର୍ଣ୍ଣିଂ ଜାରି କରାଯାଇଛି।ଆସନ୍ତାକାଲି ପାଇଁ ୨୪ଟି ଜିଲ୍ଲାକୁ ୱାର୍ଣ୍ଣିଂ ଜାରି କରିଛି ପାଣିପାଗ ବିଭାଗ। ଏଥିମଧ୍ୟରୁ ୪ ଜିଲ୍ଲାକୁ ଅରେଞ୍ଜ ୱାର୍ଣ୍ଣି ଜାରି ହୋଇଛି। ଏହି ଜିଲ୍ଲାଗୁଡିକରେ ବିଜୁଳି ଘଡ଼ଘଡି ସହ ପ୍ରବଳ ବର୍ଷା ହେବା ସହ ୪୦ରୁ ୫୦ କିଲୋମିଟର ବେଗରେ ପବନ ବହିପାରେ।

The Regional Meteorological Department has forecast widespread rainfall across most districts of Odisha for the next three days starting today. According to the weather department, several areas—especially in the north coastal districts—may experience rain accompanied by lightning and thunderstorms.

For today, the department has issued a Yellow Warning for 12 districts. For tomorrow, warnings have been extended to 24 districts, including an Orange Warning for four districts where heavy rainfall, lightning and gusty winds of 40–50 kmph may occur.

In districts under Yellow Warning, rain with thunderstorms and winds of 30–40 kmph is expected. The Meteorological Department has also cautioned people about humid conditions and unstable weather during this period.
