Gandhamardan Set to Be Maoist-Free as 15 BBM Naxals Likely to Surrender

Gandhamardan is likely to become Maoist-free within a week following a surrender proposal by the Lal Bahini. Chhattisgarh Home Minister Vijay Sharma has accepted the proposal and assured security guarantees through a radio message. According to IG Himanshu Lal, combing operations from the Odisha side have also been halted.
