Father and Son Missing After Landslide in Gajapati District During Heavy Rain

In a tragic incident from Pekata village under Rayagada block of Gajapati district, 70-year-old Kartika Sabar and his son Rajika Sabar went missing following a landslide. The duo had taken shelter under a tree while returning from their farmland during heavy rainfall when the landslide occurred. Since then, they have not been traced.
ଗଜପତି ଜିଲ୍ଲାର ରାୟଗଡ ବ୍ଲକ ଅନ୍ତର୍ଗତ ପେକଟ ଗାଁର ୭୦ ବର୍ଷୀୟ କାର୍ତ୍ତିକ ଶବର ଓ ପୁଅ ରାଜିକ ଶବର ଚାଷଜମିକୁ ଯାଇଥିଲେ। ଆଉ ଜମିରୁ ଘରକୁ ଫେରିବା ସମୟରେ ବର୍ଷା ହେଉଥିବା ବେଳେ ଗଛ ତଳେ ସାହାରା ନେଇଥିଲେ। ସେହି ସମୟରେ ଭୂସ୍ଖଳନ ହୋଇଥିଲା । ସେବେଠାରୁ ଉଭୟଙ୍କର ପତ୍ତା ମିଳୁନାହିଁ।
