Former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has been acquitted by a Delhi Court in the much-discussed Delhi excise policy corruption case. Along with Kejriwal, former Deputy CM Manish Sisodia and all 23 accused have been cleared due to lack of evidence. The court observed serious contradictions in the CBI chargesheet and noted inconsistencies in witness statements.

The court termed the case theory weak and ordered a departmental inquiry against the CBI investigating officer. Following the verdict, an emotional Kejriwal reacted strongly, alleging that it was a conspiracy to destroy the Aam Aadmi Party. Sunita Kejriwal welcomed the judgment with teary eyes and wrote on X that “Truth always triumphs.”
