ରାଜ୍ୟସଭା ପ୍ରାର୍ଥୀ ଡା. ଦତ୍ତେଶ୍ୱର ହୋତାଙ୍କୁ କଂଗ୍ରେସର ସମର୍ଥନ । ଏନେଇ ସୂଚନା ଦେଲେ ପିସିସି ସଭାପତି ଭକ୍ତ ଚରଣ ଦାସ। କହିଛନ୍ତି, ସୋମବାର ନବୀନ ବାବୁଙ୍କ ସହ ମୋର ସାକ୍ଷାତ ଆଲୋଚନା ହୋଇଛି। ଜଣେ କମନ୍ କ୍ୟାଣ୍ଡିଡେଟ୍ ନେଇ ନବୀନଙ୍କ ସହ ଆଲୋଚନା ହୋଇଥିଲା। ନବୀନ ବାବୁ ଗୁରୁତ୍ୱପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ଓ ଉଚିତ ପଦକ୍ଷେପ ନେଇଛନ୍ତି । ନବୀନ ବାବୁ ଜଣେ କମନ କ୍ୟାଣ୍ଡିଡେଟ୍ ଦେବା ସ୍ୱାଗତଯୋଗ୍ୟ । ଡା. ଦତ୍ତେଶ୍ୱର ଜଣେ ଯୋଗ୍ୟ ପ୍ରାର୍ଥୀ, ଭଲ କାମ କରିଛନ୍ତି । ଦତ୍ତେଶ୍ୱର ବାବୁ ମଧ୍ୟ ମୋ ପାଖକୁ ଆସିଥିଲେ । ସେ ଆହୁରି କହିଛନ୍ତି, ଆମେ ଟେକ୍ନିକାଲି ଚିନ୍ତା କରୁଛୁ, କୌଣସି ପ୍ରେସର କମନ୍ କ୍ୟାଣ୍ଡିଡେଟ୍ ଉପରେ ନପଡୁ, ସେ ପ୍ରତ୍ୟାହାର ନକରନ୍ତୁ । ସେଥି ପାଇଁ ଆମେ କ'ଣ ପ୍ରିକସନ୍ ନେବୁ ସେନେଇ ମିଟିଂରେ ଆଲୋଚନା ହେବ କହିଛନ୍ତି ।

Congress has officially expressed support for Dr. Datteshwar Hota as a Rajya Sabha candidate in Odisha. PCC President Bhakta Charan Das confirmed that discussions took place with Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Monday regarding the selection process and the common candidate.

Bhakta Charan Das stated, "Dr. Datteshwar Hota is a deserving candidate who has done good work. Technically, we are ensuring that no pressure is applied on the common candidate, and he should not withdraw."
