The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) is proudly celebrating its 57th Raising Day today (March 6, 2026) at the Kharavela Regional Training Centre (KRTC) in Mundali, Odisha. Union Home Minister Amit Shah graced the event as Chief Guest, addressing the parade and lauding the force's immense growth, courage, and vital role in safeguarding critical national infrastructure—including airports, ports, vital installations, and more. CISF jawans demonstrated daring operations, readiness in adverse situations like hijackings, terrorist attacks, and other threats, often risking their lives to protect the nation and its citizens. From zero to a formidable force, CISF has multiplied its capabilities manifold over 57 years, standing ever-prepared in every challenging scenario. The celebrations included ceremonial drills, synchronized marches, operational demonstrations, and infrastructure inaugurations, highlighting discipline, professionalism, and sacrifice. A proud day for the nation and Odisha, which hosted this prestigious event!
