During the 57th Raising Day celebration of the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), jawans showcased a high-intensity mock security operation demonstrating how civilians can be rescued from a bus hijacked by terrorists. The dramatic demonstration highlighted the quick response, coordination and bravery of CISF personnel while handling a simulated hostage situation. In the exercise, jawans swiftly neutralised the threat and safely evacuated the passengers from the bus, drawing attention to their operational readiness in counter-terror scenarios. The Central Industrial Security Force, raised in 1969, plays a crucial role in safeguarding vital installations and public infrastructure across India and regularly conducts such demonstrations to display its preparedness and professional capability.
