Today, bus services to Kendrapara have been brought to a standstill as a bandh (statewide shutdown) affects public transport across Odisha. Buses scheduled to depart from Cuttack Netaji Bus Terminal have not operated, leaving travellers waiting with no buses available amid the bandh called by the Navnirman Krushak Sangathan. According to local reports, passengers heading to their destinations were seen stranded, trying to find alternative transport amidst the disrupted schedule.
