A shocking crime has surfaced from Chatikana Puruna Station Sahi under Bisamkatak Police Station in Rayagada district, Odisha, where a 5-year-old boy was allegedly kidnapped and murdered. The minor had been missing since yesterday evening, and later his body was recovered from inside an Akha (sack) behind his old house.

According to reports, the victim’s uncle received a message from an unknown number demanding ₹4 lakh as ransom. The sender also warned the family not to inform the police.
