Justice has been swiftly delivered in Bhubaneswar. The Special POCSO Court has sentenced Muna Behera to 20 years of imprisonment and imposed a fine of ₹50,000 for raping a minor girl in the Chandaka area. The incident occurred on September 2, and the verdict was pronounced within just 37 days — a strong example of fast-track justice under the POCSO Act.

The court, presided over by the Additional District Judge (POCSO), also directed a compensation of ₹6 lakh to be provided to the survivor. The Commissionerate Police had treated the case with utmost seriousness, ensuring a quick and evidence-based investigation.
