In Biragobindapur, a village situated approximately 45 km from Bhubaneswar and 19 km from Puri, the Kalash Yatra marking the commencement of Maa Dakshina Kali's arrival has begun. The ritual commenced with traditional worship led by the Brahmin Mahajan community of the village. Following the ceremony, the goddess was ceremoniously installed, and devotees participated in the Mahabhairabi Puja. Currently, Maa Dakshina Kali is being venerated in her Rajarajeswari form, adorned in regal attire and jewellery, as she blesses the devotees.

The Kalash Yatra is a significant event in the region, symbolizing the goddess's journey to the village. This ritual is deeply rooted in local traditions and is observed with great reverence by the community.
