ନୂଆବର୍ଷର ପହିଲି ଦିନରେ ଜଗତସିଂହପୁର ଜିଲ୍ଲାର ଆରଧ୍ୟା ଦେବୀ ମା' ଶାରଳାଙ୍କ ପୀଠରେ ଶ୍ରଦ୍ଧାଳୁଙ୍କର ଭିଡ଼ ଜମିଥିଲା। ଭୋର ୪ଟା ୩୦ରେ ମା'ଙ୍କର ପହଡ଼ ଖୋଲା ହୋଇ ବିଭିନ୍ନ ନୀତିକାନ୍ତି ତଥା ମଙ୍ଗଳ ଆଳତି ଶେଷ ହେବା ପରେ ଶ୍ରଦ୍ଧାଳୁମାନେ ଦର୍ଶନ କରିଥିଲେ। ନୂଆବର୍ଷର ପହିଲି ଦିନରେ ଶ୍ରଦ୍ଧାଳୁମାନେ ମା'ଙ୍କ ନିକଟକୁ ଆସି ସମସ୍ତଙ୍କର ମଙ୍ଗଳ କାମନା କରିଛନ୍ତି। ଶ୍ରଦ୍ଧାଳୁଙ୍କ ଭିଡ଼କୁ ନଜରରେ ରଖି ପୋଲିସ ପକ୍ଷରୁ ମଧ୍ୟ ବ୍ୟାପକ ସୁରକ୍ଷା ବ୍ୟବସ୍ଥା କରାଯାଇଛି।

On the first day of the New Year, a large crowd of devotees thronged Maa Sharala Temple in Jagatsinghpur district, Odisha to seek blessings and offer prayers. The temple doors opened at 4:30 AM, and devotees participated in various rituals and auspicious aarti before darshan.

Devotees expressed joy and sought well-being and prosperity for the New Year, coming together despite the cold weather. The local police had arranged extensive security to ensure the smooth management of the crowd.

The gathering reflects the deep devotion of locals and visitors, who come together every year on New Year’s Day to seek the blessings of Aradhya Devi Maa Sharala.
