ଫାଲ୍ଗୁଣ ମାସ କୃଷ୍ଣ ପକ୍ଷ ପାଖେଇ ଆସିଲେ, ମନ ଶିବ ମନ୍ଦିର ମୁହାଁ ହୋଇଥାଏ । ଶିବଧାମ ଏକ ଏପରି ଧାମ ଯେଉଁଠି ଭକ୍ତି, ଆସ୍ଥା ଓ ଆଧ୍ୟାତ୍ମିକତାର ଏକ ଅନନ୍ୟ ସମାରୋହ ଦେଖିବାକୁ ମିଳେ। (୧) ସେଇ ମାଟିର ଶୈବପୀଠ କଥା ଆଲୋଚନା କଲେ ପ୍ରଥମେ ମନକୁ ଆସିଥାଏ ସର୍ବବୃହତ୍ ଓ ପ୍ରସିଦ୍ଧ ଶିବ ମନ୍ଦିରର କଥା । ସିଏ ହେଉଛନ୍ତି ଭୁବନେଶ୍ୱର ଏକାମ୍ର କ୍ଷେତ୍ରାଧିପତି ବାବା ଲିଙ୍ଗରାଜ । ଏଠାରେ ହରି-ହର ରୂପେ ପୂଜା କରାଯାଏ । ହରି ଅର୍ଥାତ ବିଷ୍ଣୁ ଓ ହର ଅର୍ଥାତ ଶିବ ତେଣୁ ଶୈବ ଓ ବୈଷ୍ଣବ ଉଭୟ ପରମ୍ପରା ଏଠାରେ ରହିଛି। ପୁରାଣ ଅନୁସାରେ, ଲିଙ୍ଗରାଜ ମନ୍ଦିର ଅଞ୍ଚଳ ପୂର୍ବେ ଏକାମ୍ର ବନ ଥିଲା । ସ୍ୱୟଂ ଶିବ ଏଠାରେ ବାସ କରୁଥିଲେ ବୋଲି ବିଶ୍ୱାସ କରାଯାଏ ।Odisha is home to some of India’s most spiritually significant Shiva temples, including the historic Lingaraj Temple at Ekamra Kshetra in Bhubaneswar, the 7th century Parsurameswar Temple, and the revered Lokanath Temple in Puri. While Lingaraj represents the unique Hari-Hara tradition where Lord Vishnu and Lord Shiva are worshipped together, Parsurameswar is considered the oldest surviving Shiva temple in the capital city. The Lokanath Temple in Puri is known for its Shivling that remains submerged in water throughout the year, becoming fully visible only on Maha Shivaratri.
