In Sambalpur district, though government offices are officially supposed to begin operations at 10:00 AM, numerous staff at the Sadar Tahasil office were observed arriving late. Some arrived just after 10:30 AM, while a few did reach on time.
During the cleaning hours, some employees said their delay was due to special, unavoidable reasons.
This discrepancy between prescribed timings and actual arrival raises questions about punctuality and administrative discipline in local offices.
