ପନିପରିବାରୁ ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତ ହେଉଛି ପ୍ରାକୃତିକ ହୋଲି ରଂଗ....ପାଳଙ୍ଗ ସାଗରୁ ସବୁଜ ରଂଗ, ବିଟ୍ ରୁଟ୍ ରୁ ଲାଲ ରଂଗ, ଗାଜରରୁ ଗେରୁଆ ରଂଗ ... କୋରାପୁଟ ଜିଲ୍ଲା ଡୁମୁରୀପୁଟ ତୁଳସୀ ସ୍ୱୟଂ ସହାୟକ ଦଳର ମହିଳା ମାନେ ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତ କରୁଛନ୍ତି ପନିପରିବାରୁ ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତ ପ୍ରାକୃତିକ ରଂଗ। ଚାଉଳ ଚୁନା କୁ ସମସ୍ତ ରଂଗରେ ମିଶାଯିବା ସହ ଧଳା ରଂଗ ଭାବେ ବ୍ୟବହାର କରାଯାଉଥିବା ବେଳେ ହଳଦି ଗୁଣ୍ଡ ଓ ବେସନ ମିଶାଇ ହଳଦି ରଂଗ, ପାଳଙ୍ଗ ସାଗରୁ ସବୁଜ ରଂଗ, ବିଟ୍ ରୁଟ୍ ରୁ ଲାଲ ରଂଗ, ଗାଜରରୁ ଗେରୁଆ ରଂଗ ଆଦି ବିଭିନ୍ନ ପନିପରିବାକୁ ବ୍ୟବହାର କରି ପ୍ରାକୃତିକ ରଂଗ ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତ କରାଯାଉଛି। ବଜାରରେ ଶସ୍ତାରେ ବିକ୍ରି କରିବା ପାଇଁ ଲକ୍ଷ ରଖିଛି ମହିଳା ଦଳ। ଓରମାସ ଓ ଜୀବିକା ମିଶନର ସହାୟତାରେ ଏହି ରଂଗର ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତି ଓ ବଜାର ବ୍ୟବସ୍ଥାରେ ସହଯୋଗ କରାଯାଉଛି। କୋରାପୁଟ ସହରରେ ଏହି ରଂଗ କୁ ବିକ୍ରି କରିବା ପାଇଁ ଏକ ସ୍ବତନ୍ତ୍ର ଷ୍ଟଲ କୁ ଉଦ୍ଘାଟନ କଲେ କୋରାପୁଟ ଜିଲାପାଳ।

Women members of the Tulasi Self Help Group at Dumuriput in Koraput district are preparing natural Holi colours using vegetables. Spinach is used for green colour, beetroot for red, carrot for saffron shade, while turmeric powder mixed with gram flour produces yellow. Rice flour is added to all colours and also used as white colour.

The women aim to sell these eco-friendly colours at affordable prices in the market. With support from ORMAS and the Jeevika Mission, assistance is being provided for preparation and marketing of the products.

A special stall for selling these natural colours has been inaugurated in Koraput town by the Koraput District Collector.
