Apollo Hospital in Bhubaneswar has successfully performed astrotherapy for a cancer patient, marking the first use of the TAMIS procedure in Odisha. The surgical oncologist Dr. Manindra Nayak and his medical team treated a 52-year-old patient who had previously received unsuccessful treatments at other hospitals.

Dr. Nayak and his team applied astrotherapy after careful consultation, achieving a successful outcome. This breakthrough demonstrates advanced cancer treatment options now available in the state.
