The Indian cricket team for the upcoming T20 World Cup has been officially announced. A 15-member squad has been selected for the global tournament.

According to the announcement, ODI and Test captain Shubman Gill has been dropped from the squad. In his place, Ishan Kishan and Rinku Singh have been included. The team will be led by Suryakumar Yadav in the T20 World Cup, while all-rounder Axar Patel has been given the responsibility of vice-captain.
