The International Cricket Council (ICC) has delivered another major setback to Bangladesh, rejecting its request to change the venue of the T20 World Cup. The ICC has made it clear that Bangladesh will have to play its matches in India, where the tournament is scheduled to begin from February 7.

Bangladesh had approached the ICC citing security risks to players and expressed reluctance to travel to India. However, the ICC firmly stated that matches will be played in India only, and no changes to the venue or match schedule will be permitted.
