India’s visually-impaired women’s cricket team clinched the first-ever Blind Women’s T20 World Cup by defeating Nepal in the final at Colombo, lifting the historic trophy and writing a new chapter in inclusive sports. Among the champions are four proud daughters of Odisha — Phula Soren, Basanti Hansda, Jamuna Rani Tudu and Parbati Marandi — whose triumphant return home has sparked celebrations across the state.
