ଆଜିଠୁ ଟି-୨୦ ବିଶ୍ବକପ୍ ସୁପର-୮ ମୁକାବିଲା । ସୁପର-୮ ପର୍ଯ୍ୟାୟରେ ୨ଟି ଗ୍ରୁପରେ ୮ ଦଳ ରହିଛନ୍ତି। ଗ୍ରୁପ୍-ଏ’ ରେ ଭାରତ, ଦକ୍ଷିଣ ଆଫ୍ରିକା, ୱେଷ୍ଟଇଣ୍ଡିଜ୍ ଓ ଜିମ୍ବାୱେ ରହିଥିବା ବେଳେ ଗ୍ରୁପ୍-ବି’ରେ ପାକିସ୍ତାନ, ଇଂଲଣ୍ଡ, ନ୍ୟୁଜିଲାଣ୍ଡ, ଓ ଶ୍ରୀଲଙ୍କା ରହିଛନ୍ତି । ୨୦ଟି ଦଳକୁ ନେଇ ଆୟୋଜିତ ଟି-୨୦ ବିଶ୍ବକପରୁ ୧୨ ଦଳ ବିଦାୟ ନେଇଛନ୍ତି। ସୁପର-୮ ପର୍ଯ୍ୟାୟରେ ନିଜ ନିଜ ଗ୍ରୁପରେ ପ୍ରତିଦଳ ନିଜ ନିଜ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଗୋଟିଏ ଲେଖାଏଁ ମ୍ୟାଚ୍ ଖେଳିବେ। ଗ୍ରୁପର ଶ୍ରେଷ୍ଠ ଦୁଇଟି ଦଳ ସେମିଫାଇନାଲରେ ପାଇଁ ଯୋଗ୍ୟତା ଅର୍ଜନ କରିବେ। ଲିଗ୍ ପର୍ଯ୍ୟାୟରେ ଗ୍ରୁପ୍ -ଏ’ରୁ ଭାରତ ଅପରାଜେୟ ଭାବେ ସୁପର-୮କୁ ଯାଇଥିଲା ବେଳେ ଏବେ ଟ୍ରଫି ଦାବିଦାରେ ପ୍ରଥମ ସ୍ଥାନରେ ରହିଛି। ସେପଟେ ଜିମ୍ବାୱେ ଗ୍ରୁପ୍ ମ୍ୟାଚରେ ବିଶ୍ବର ଶ୍ରେଷ୍ଠ ଦଳ ଅଷ୍ଟ୍ରେଲିଆ ଓ ଶ୍ରୀଲଙ୍କାକୁ ମାତ୍ ଦେଇ ଗ୍ରୁପ୍ ପର୍ଯ୍ୟାୟରେ ଅପରାଜେୟ ରହିଛି । ଆଜି ସୁପର-୮ ପର୍ଯ୍ୟାୟର ପ୍ରଥମ ମ୍ୟାଚରେ କଳମ୍ବୋରେ ପାକିସ୍ତାନକୁ ଭେଟିବ ନ୍ୟୁଜିଲାଣ୍ଡ । ଆସନ୍ତାକାଲି ଅହମଦାବାଦରେ ଦକ୍ଷିଣ ଆଫ୍ରିକାକୁ ଭେଟିବ ଆୟୋଜକ ଭାରତ ।

The Super 8 stage of the ICC Men's T20 World Cup begins today with eight teams divided into two groups. Group A features India national cricket team, South Africa national cricket team, West Indies cricket team and Zimbabwe national cricket team, while Group B includes Pakistan national cricket team, England cricket team, New Zealand national cricket team and Sri Lanka national cricket team.

Out of 20 participating teams, 12 have already been eliminated. In the Super 8 stage, each team will play one match against every other team in their group. The top two teams from each group will qualify for the semifinals.

India entered the Super 8 unbeaten from Group A in the league stage and is currently considered a strong title contender. Zimbabwe also remained unbeaten in the group stage after defeating top sides like Australia and Sri Lanka. Today, New Zealand will face Pakistan in Colombo, while hosts India will take on South Africa in Ahmedabad tomorrow.
