Yellow Warning: Thunderstorm, Rain Likely in 23 Odisha Districts

ପଶ୍ଚିମାଝଡ଼ ପ୍ରଭାବରେ ବାୟୁମଣ୍ଡଳ ଥଣ୍ଡା ରହିଛି । ଗତ ଦୁଇ ଦିନ ଧରି କେନ୍ଦ୍ରୀୟ ଭାରତର ଉପରି ଭାଗରେ ଏକ ଟ୍ରପ ଲାଇନ ରହିଥିବା ବେଳେ ଏହାର ପ୍ରଭାବରେ ଗତକାଲି ବର୍ଷା ହୋଇଥିଲା। ଆସନ୍ତା ୨୪ ଘଣ୍ଟାରେ ରାଜ୍ୟର ୨୩ଟି ଜିଲ୍ଲାରେ ବିଜୁଳି ଘଡଘଡି ସହ ହାଲୁକାରୁ ମଧ୍ୟମ ଧରଣର ବର୍ଷା ହେବାର ସମ୍ଭାବନା ରହିଛି । ଏହାସହ ପବନର ବେଗ ୩୦ ରୁ ୪୦ କିମି ବହିବ ସମ୍ଭାବନା ଥିବାରୁ ପାଣିପାଗ ବିଭାଗ ପକ୍ଷରୁ ଜାରି ହୋଇଛି ୟେଲୋ ଓ୍ୱାର୍ଣ୍ଣିଂ ଜାରି ହୋଇଛି। ଆସନ୍ତା ୨-୩ ଦିନ ଯାଏଁ ଦିନ ତାପମାତ୍ରା ୨-୩ ଡିଗ୍ରୀ ବଢିବାର ସମ୍ଭାବନା ରହିଛି। ଗତ ୨୪ ଘଂଟାରେ ୧୨ ଟି ଷ୍ଟେସନରେ ପବନ ସହ ବର୍ଷା ହୋଇଥିବା ବେଳେ ଗଂଜାମର ପୋଲସରା ରେ ସର୍ବାଧିକ ୫୩.୪ ମିମି ବର୍ଷା ରେକର୍ଡ କରାଯାଇଛି। ପାରଳାଖେମୁଣ୍ଡିରେ ୩୬.୬ ଡିଗ୍ରୀ ସେଲସିୟସ ରେକର୍ଡ କରାଯାଇଥିବା ବେଳେ ସର୍ବନିମ୍ନ ତାପମାତ୍ରା ରାଉରକେଲା ୧୪.୬ ଡିଗ୍ରୀ ସେଲସିୟସ ରେକର୍ଡ କରାଯାଇଛି....

Under the influence of a Western Disturbance, the atmosphere over Odisha remains cool, with a trough line persisting over central India for the past two days. The Meteorological Department has issued a Yellow Warning for 23 districts, forecasting light to moderate rain accompanied by thunder and lightning within the next 24 hours. Wind speeds are expected to range between 30 and 40 kmph.

Over the last 24 hours, 12 stations recorded rainfall with gusty winds. Polasara in Ganjam district reported the highest rainfall at 53.4 mm. Paralakhemundi recorded a maximum temperature of 36.6°C, while Rourkela registered the lowest minimum temperature at 14.6°C.

Day temperatures are likely to rise by 2–3 degrees Celsius over the next 2–3 days, the department added.
