A woman who had come to a picnic spot expressed her disappointment and fear after authorities closed the area because of wild elephants roaming nearby. She said they had brought food and were ready to eat, but seeing the elephants and the closure, they could not dine. She listed the dishes they had prepared — rice, dal, khata (a sour preparation), khiri (a milk-based sweet) and pampad — all left untouched due to the sudden situation.
