Tension flared up in Bhubaneswar after an ‘Ama Bus’ allegedly hit a cyclist near Palaspalli Overbridge. The accident reportedly occurred under the Palaspalli overbridge in the city, leaving the cyclist critically injured. The victim has been admitted to a medical facility for treatment.

Following the mishap, locals staged a massive protest. The bus was vandalised, stones were hurled, and miscreants even set the vehicle on fire. The situation turned so volatile that police were unable to immediately move the bus from the spot.
