Odisha Vigilance has arrested Inspector-in-Charge (IIC) Bijaya Kumar Barik of the CRRI Police Station, Cuttack, while he was allegedly demanding and accepting a bribe of ₹40,000 from a licensed liquor vendor to allow his business to operate smoothly. The arrest took place at Rajmahal Chhak in Bhubaneswar, and the entire bribe amount was recovered from his possession at the time of the trap.
