On World Cancer Day, the Odisha Television Network (OTV) organised a mini-marathon in Bhubaneswar to raise awareness about cancer and promote healthy living, drawing enthusiastic participation from students, citizens and fitness enthusiasts. The event highlighted the importance of prevention, early detection and adopting a healthy lifestyle as part of the fight against cancer.

Speaking at the event, Bhubaneswar (North) MLA Sushant Raut thanked OTV for its unique initiative and said such programmes play a vital role in sensitising the public about cancer and inspiring people to take proactive steps towards health and well-being.

The OTV mini-marathon, flagged off early in the morning from the Government Polytechnic campus on Xavier Road, saw participants carry placards and messages advocating a cancer-free world. The event also symbolised solidarity with cancer survivors and emphasised that healthy habits, regular exercise and body care are essential parts of maintaining wellbeing.
