Authorities have imposed Section 163 BNSS (prohibitory-order/curfew) across two villages — M.V-26 and Rakhelguda — near Malkangiri following widespread violence and law-and-order breakdown. The restricted zone covers a 10-kilometre radius, and local administrative action includes shutting down the residential school in M.V-26 for four days.
