Tusker Elephant Tranquilised & Radio-Collar Fitted in Bhubaneswar's Bharatpur Forest

After a 2-day operation in Bharatpur jungle near Bhubaneswar, forest teams under Chandaka DFO successfully tranquilised a problematic tusker elephant that had been causing panic in capital areas. The Forest Department fitted a radio collar to track its movements in real-time, reducing human-elephant conflict risks, with monitoring by Chandaka division & Bhubaneswar RRT.
