A picnic bus returning to Jharasuguda from Sambalpur was stopped at Ainthapali chowk, where the Transport Department imposed six different cases and fines totaling ₹2,19,200 for various violations. The bus was carrying passengers back from a day outing when it was intercepted and seized by authorities. The passengers were transferred to another bus arranged by the department.
