A serious allegation has surfaced from Atagada Durga Government Primary School at Atagada Patana under Kabisuryanagar Block in Ganjam district. A teacher, identified as Jharana Pradhan, has been accused of beating students and asking them to clean the school toilet.

After the alleged assault, students were seen crying inside the school premises. On receiving information, parents and villagers rushed to the school, created a ruckus, and gheraoed the teacher demanding action.
