Supreme Court Seeks Report on Ganjam Road Accident from Odisha Govt

The Supreme Court's Road Safety Committee has directed the Odisha government to submit a detailed report by March 5 on the fatal accident near Haladiapadar on NH in Ganjam district. Five people died on January 31 when a truck collided with vehicles. The court has ordered the state to outline steps already taken and propose preventive measures to avoid future accidents on the stretch, with the committee to receive both compliance and safety proposal reports.
