STF Bhubaneswar Leads with Biggest Cough Syrup Seizure in Statewide Operation

ବେଆଇନ କଫ୍ ସିରପ ଚୋରା ଚାଲାଣ ଓ ବ୍ୟବସାୟ ରୋକିବା ପାଇଁ ଓଡିଶା ପୋଲିସ ଗ୍ରହଣ କରୁଛି କଠୋର ପଦକ୍ଷେପ। ମୋଟ ୬୧ଟି ମାମଲା ରୁଜୁ କରାଯିବା ସହ ମୋଟ ୭୩ ହଜାର ୧୮୧ ବୋତଲ ନିଶାଦ୍ରବ୍ୟ ମିଶ୍ରିତ କଫ ସିରପ ଜବତ କରାଯାଇଛି। ଏହି କାରବାରରେ ସମ୍ପୃକ୍ତ ୧୮୧ ଜଣ ବ୍ୟକ୍ତିଙ୍କୁ ଗିରଫ କରାଯାଇଛି। STF, ଭୁବନେଶ୍ୱର ସର୍ବାଧିକ ୨୬ ହଜାର ୬୫୮ ବୋତଲ କଫ ସିରପ୍ ଜବତ କରି ଏହି ଅଭିଯାନରେ ପ୍ରମୁଖ ଭୂମିକା ଗ୍ରହଣ କରିଛି। ଆଗାମୀ ଦିନରେ ଏହିପରି ଅଭିଯାନ ଜାରି ରହିବା ସହ ନିଶା ବ୍ୟବସାୟୀଙ୍କ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ କଠୋର କାର୍ଯ୍ୟାନୁଷ୍ଠାନ ଗ୍ରହଣ କରାଯିବ ବୋଲି ଡିଜିପି ସୂଚନା ଦେଇଛନ୍ତି।

Odisha Police have intensified their action against illegal smuggling and sale of intoxicant-mixed cough syrups. A total of 61 cases have been registered across the state, leading to the seizure of 73,181 bottles of contraband cough syrup. Police have also arrested 181 individuals involved in the illicit network. The STF, Bhubaneswar, played a crucial role by seizing 26,658 bottles, the highest in this crackdown.
