It has been 20 days since Odia playback singer Humane Sagar passed away — yet there has been no formal complaint filed in any police station. Despite public speculation and serious accusations, his mother and wife say they are still too distressed to lodge an FIR (“Etala”). Without this, the police are unable to begin a proper investigation beyond recording a station diary.
